Refund Policy

Refunds must be received in writing to the Executive and will be calculated according to the date the written request is received. All written requests must be made within 7 days of the skater’s last day.

No refunds will be granted for snow days or arena closures or other events beyond SSSC control.

No refunds will be given for missed sessions (i.e. due to illness) or sessions that are cancelled due to Test nights, inclement weather or building maintenance problems.

Program Refunds shall be granted as follows and are subject to a $50 administration and Skate Canada Registration fees, which will be deducted from the refund.

1.  FULL YEAR PROGRAMS:

a.     100% Registration Fee Refund before program start date

b.     75% Registration Fee Refund within 15 days of program start date

c.     50% Registration Fee Refund within 30 days of program start date

d.     0% Registration Fee Refund after 30 days of program start date

2.  SPECIAL PROGRAMS: Learn to Skate, Adult Skate, Spring School, etc.

a.     75% Registration Fee Refund within 7 days

b.     0% Registration Fee Refund after 7 days

3.  MEDICAL REASONS:  Pro-rated medical refund requests must be submitted in writing to both ssskatingclub@gmail.com and ssscacctg@gmail.com within 7 days of injury/diagnosis and must include a signed and dated original letter from a medical doctor.  Prorated medical refund requests are subject to approval by the Board of Directors.
